On March 2nd 2017, African Gifted Foundation hosted its first ever fundraising gala at BAFTA Piccadilly, London. It was a fabulous evening filled with hundreds of African Gifted supporters.  Special guests included renowned space scientist Maggie Aderin-Pocock and actress Ellen Thomas. The event raised over £40,000 in total, enabling many gifted girls to attend the African Science Academy in 2017.
