What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to site owners. Some embedded services also use similar technologies such as local storage.

How we use them

This site itself sets only what is needed to remember your cookie-banner choice. Most data is set by third-party services we embed:

• Essential - cookie preference. We store a single flag in your browser's local storage to remember that you have seen the cookie banner, so it is not shown on every visit. This is essential and is not used for tracking.
• DonorBox (donations). When you open a donation form, DonorBox may set cookies needed to process your donation securely. These load only when you choose to donate.
• YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode). Embedded videos use youtube-nocookie.com, which avoids setting tracking cookies unless you play a video.
• Formspree (contact form). Submitting the contact form may involve cookies used for spam prevention.
